We are dealers for Trek Bikes, as well as Specialized, Orbea, Whyte, Kinesis, Bergamont, Salsa and Frog bikes, and we concentrate on having bikes for everyone from complete beginner to experts alike.
The guiding principle at Cycleshack is to provide a friendly, approachable service for everyone and to build a community to encourage anyone to become enthusiastic about cycling. We believe that everyone should feel comfortable in a bike shop and be able to buy their ideal bike, whatever their needs or their ideal type of riding.
The first shop was started at Deers Leap Bikes in East Grinstead in 2007, followed by Lewes Cycleshack in Intersport, Cliffe High Street in Lewes. This second shop was started with Paul Benoy, and then expanded to include a second store in Lewes at Friars Walk. Cycleshack Eastbourne opened in an industrial estate on the edge of the Eastbourne area in spring 2021. In 2023, we took over operation of Handsome Bicycles in Hastings. In 2023 we merged the two Lewes shops into one at Intersport.
All four stores are Trek dealers – Trek Bikes are one of the world’s largest and most recognisable brands and we are proud to be Trek dealers. We also stock several other brands including Orbea, a major Spanish brand, and are delighted to now stock Specialized in our new Eastbourne store.
